Okay, all you Catawba Valley people, next weekend brings a lot of excitement to downtown Hickory. (Excitement is relative, remember.) Art on the Avenue is a gathering of artists and craftspeople, live music, lots of hands-on art activities for the kids, and a variety of petting farm animals. And, it’s free! David and I will be exhibiting and I’ll be doing marbling demonstrations, weather permitting. Here are the details:

Greenway Transit Authority will provide a FREE shuttle from the Arts & Science Center to Hickory International Council’s Spring Fest on Union Square.
