Last month I enjoyed an illuminating weekend marbling workshop taught by Steve Pittelkow. Although this is the fourth class I’ve taken using acrylics on paper, I learned quite a few new tips and techniques. Truly every marbler seems to have their own way of doing things. I also enjoy seeing how each person sets up the logistics for teaching, given that marbling is such a very wet and messy activity. Steve’s own work is awesome. He uses the brightest palette I’ve ever seen and does some wonderful things with overmarbling.
NOTE: This stunning example of Spanish Moire is by Steve Pittelkow, not me!
